Brainspotting is a focused, body-based approach that works directly with subcortical processing and nervous-system activation, rather than primarily with suggestion or cognitive reframing.
By using specific eye positions and sustained attention, we access and support the brain’s natural capacity to process, integrate and reorganise stored experience.
Harmonic Brain Healing draws on similar principles of regulation and integration. This area of work continues to evolve within neuroscience, and we approach it thoughtfully and responsibly — guided by your nervous system’s capacity and pace.
Trauma & Integration
Unprocessed stress and trauma can remain stored in the nervous system long after an event has passed. This can contribute to anxiety, depression, reactivity, chronic tension or physical symptoms.
Brainspotting can support:
- Trauma integration
- Reduction of anxiety and stress responses
- Attachment-related distress
- Chronic activation or shutdown patterns
- Certain forms of persistent pain
The work is largely internally guided. I remain present and attuned while your nervous system processes at a pace that feels manageable.
Performance & Optimisation
Brainspotting is increasingly used to enhance performance in areas such as leadership, sport, public speaking and creative work.
Rather than “adding” something new, the process often reduces internal interference — allowing clearer access to existing capacity.
Clients may notice:
- Greater focus
- Reduced performance anxiety
- Increased confidence
- Improved access to flow states
- More stable regulation under pressure
What to Expect After a Session
Some people feel calm or clear. Others may feel temporarily tired or emotionally sensitive while integration continues over 24–48 hours.
Allowing space for rest and self-care supports this process.
Session Structure
An initial intake is recommended to establish safety and suitability. Some issues may shift within one to three sessions; more complex or layered material may require additional work.
We review progress together and adjust as needed.
